Shifting power by mainstreaming participatory and decolonial approaches to social impact

I came across this great deep dive written by Maya Lefkowich, for ‘AND Implementation’. Poetry and the use of other arts-based methods for data collection is a great way to bring in participatory approaches to telling stories of change, and learning from a range of people. It also helps to bring in some innovation to the process, and opens up our ways of doing evaluation – and it can even help us identify unexpected change, positive and negative, or factors outside the scope of the project, that can help us better understand the context of the evaluation.

You’ll find an overview and general guidelines, and two examples of how to use poetry. If you’re interested, join me on the waitlist for this course!
