I regularly speak about innovative PMEL topics and approaches, accountability to our communities, JEDI+, participatory methods, and a host of other topics. Here’s an example of panels, workshops, talks, and seminars.
Seminars can be verbal, visual, or a combination of both, and are given in English. With support, I am happy to deliver any talks or seminars in a language of your choosing. They can also be easily adapted to a method that suits your audience. All accessibility needs are carefully considered to ensure they are comfortable and useful. I always get these details from clients at the beginning, and the talk is built around your needs.
I share tips on applying participatory and decolonised approaches to your existing framework. I regularly facilitate panels, speak at webinars, and am a guest speaker on a number of topics related to JEDI+, and innovative approaches for leadership and management.
The Role of DEI in Evaluation [Panellist]
New Philanthropy Capital (NPC), 2022
I spoke at a panel discussion with NPC on the role of diversity, equity, and inclusion in evaluation.
Based on conversations during the Q&As, I was inspired to write a blog post on how we can decolonise and shift power in our sector.

Decolonising Evidence: Locally-Led and Defined Approaches to Measuring Programme Success [Facilitator]
START Network, 2021
I facilitated a panel for START Network’s annual assembly, on the importance of localisation, and applying a decolonised lens to your work.
A panel of experts shared tips and useful resources, and we supported groups to identify important ideas to bring a localised approach to measuring success.
Seminar: Introduction to Decolonising Monitoring and Evaluation
I presented a seminar on ‘Introduction to Decolonising Monitoring and Evaluation’ to development practitioners in Barcelona.
It was an engaging and interactive seminar, with lively discussions with a great group of researchers and M&E consultants. I wrote about it here.

Reach out if you would like me to facilitate a conversation among your team, with donors, partners, or external communities. I regularly talk on the following topics:
- decolonising PMEL
- participatory approaches
- feminist and inclusive approaches
- localising development
- cultural inclusivity
- queer politics
- emergent topics in development
- creative and arts-based methodologies
- being an anti-racist
I’ve also spoken on topics outside this list, where organisations need support or external expertise. Reach out with any ideas you have, and I would be happy to talk through a seminar around it.
You can also check out the blog for some inspiration, the PMEL Library, and my free resources here.
