I’m a big believer in simplifying PMEL and JEDI+ as much as possible. If we want our readers to understand and support our work, we need to cut the unnecessary jargon and make it more human and relatable.
Our work should always be participatory and inclusive. It should be people-led, people-centred, with communities empowered as the key actors of their change.
It’s really not rocket science!
My work creates a platform where the marginalised are in control. My philosophies are a huge part of my work, so I work exclusively with participatory, decolonised, intersectional, and inclusive approaches.
We should share our work in evidence-based, data-driven ways that capture our dynamic contexts. That’s the only way to ensure our work is making change and solving problems – and humanising our people!
