Use this checklist to refine your research questions. It’s useful when commissioning an external evaluation – for which I have other checklist and resources too. I use it to ensure that the question is comprehensive and thorough enough while also leaving room for flexibility or adaptivity as the data in my research presents new insights. It’s useful also for project planning and any area of investigation where you want to uncover a new idea – therefore also useful for learning sessions.
