Look no further if you’re looking for a list of places to turn for standard and custom indicators. Here are four sources I regularly use! Make sure all your indicators are SMART – smart, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bound.
-
IndiKit: more for relief and development work, and their initiative indicators are split by topic. They also share guidance on collecting and analysing the relevant data.
2. Sphere Standards: internationally-recognised and respected standards for humanitarian work. They focus more on WASH, food security and nutrition, shelter and settlement, and health.
3. Bond’s Impact Builder: a downloadable hub of outcomes, indicators, and data collection tools designed to help you track and evaluate your projects, separated by topic.
4. Feed the Future Indicator Handbook: most useful for agriculture, food security, climate change, and forestry projects.
