I saw this handbook shared in a group recently and thought it would make a good resource, especially for those interested in a more circular, accountable framework. It’s written by the Transparency and Accountability Initiative (TAI), a donor collaborative that works towards citizen empowerment and responsive governance.
I like how this framework follows an ecosystem approach, where their activities and the work they fund informs learnings and a deepening understanding of their place in the funder landscape. It’s important for a MEL system to look cohesively at the roles different groups play in change, and how outcomes feed into increased learning, in turn supporting better programmes and design. It’s a short handbook but I hope it’s a useful start for some conversations in your work!
