Use this checklist during your strategic planning or review meetings with teams, to help start conversations. Every few years, you should be asking yourself foundational questions about who you are, what you do, your role in the ecosystem, and what you would like to engage in – and how. From there, we can dive deeper into the hows and think about action plans, but I like these four basic questions as a foundation for understanding your specific roles. Sometimes we can get caught up in doing our work without necessarily thinking more long-term or strategically about what value we’re adding to our contexts. Use these questions to start those conversations.
